Setting up integration with MDS is more complex and sophisticated for larger organisations. Multiple GL interface records need to be setup to support any dissections specified in the configuration. The standard Micronet interface record TOTAL is still required regardless of your integration options.
Primary integration is setup on the Config GL Interface (Distribution) screen (refer to "Edit - General Ledger Config - Distribution Interface").
The screen below shows an example integration configuration that specifies dissections by warehouse for the Sales Desk, Receipts and Stock Movements. The option Total corresponds to a GL interface record named TOTAL which contains the GL accounts for specific transactions processed in MDS where dissection is not required.
In the screen below, Debtors Transactions is set to GL Dissect, allowing users to access the Chart of Accounts within MGL to dissect adjustments made to customer accounts by debtor journals.
